has been involved in finding a better solution for paper retention. As an Accounts Payable Director for a large retail chain, he lead the development of microfilming accounts payable invoices. The microfilm cartridge number and frame number were keyed into a data file that allowed the employees to look up the documents for review and printing. The original documents were shredded!

In the latter part of the 1990's, while Mike worked for an international audit film, the Phoenix division was instrumental in launching the document imaging of our billing invoices with all attachments. This process was so successful, the Phoenix division started scanning prior years, freeing up space and eliminating filing cabinets and warehouse costs. This then grew into imaging of out-of-town clients. With laptops and portable scanners they imaged their entire financial, merchandising, and advertising files. Mike's Phoenix division was then able to provide the client with CD's to replace their files and search engines to retrieve their data.
